iCash Online Book-keeping

IRIS iCash is a new bookkeeping system that enables you to post your cashbook online.

At present the system deals with bank accounts, including reconciliations, petty cash and credit card expenditure, VAT and income and expenditure analysis as well as producing graphs to show where your money comes from and where it goes to. Full sales ledger and purchase ledger systems will be introduced shortly.

Specially designed screens, which resemble an on-line version of a bank statement, make entering transactions easy. We define the account structure and codes for the client's individual business, which reduces the chance of incorrect postings.

A further benefit is the ability to use the system from the client's home or office - in fact, anywhere there is an internet connection for a computer. Therefore, clients are able to access their financial reports and statements online, 24 hours a day.

How does it work?

iCash is part of the IRIS integrated suite of programs. You access iCash (via the Internet) from your home or workplace, simply by clicking a button on our website. You then enter your secure id and password, both of which are provided by us.

You write up your cashbook, whilst connected to the Internet. The posting screens that you see are designed for simplicity and ease-of-use and look like an online version of a manual cashbook. We can also access your cashbook online. At regular intervals we can download your postings into IRIS and make adjustments as necessary. Once checked we can upload the adjustments to your cashbook and transfer them into our Accounts Production. This also means we can discuss your situation on the telephone, so any problems and queries can be resolved quickly and efficiently.
